kodak camera

My daughter brought a kodak digital camera from a emporium upon ebay, as well as you have been utterly happy with it. The press review positively seemed to indicate it was brand brand new as well as it did come in hermetic packaging. However a box it was finished in has “Kodak Factory Reconditioned ” created upon it. Does this meant it is not new?

2 Responses to “What does “Factory Reconditioned” on a Kodak camera box mean?”

  1. This means the product was bought at a store, was returned, the store factory returned the item (for whatever reason, could be from missing parts to broken), the factory ‘made the item resellable’ or ‘reconditioned’ it, and then dumped it to a wholesaler for resale.

You could end up with a lemon, or a great camera at a great deal. It’s a die roll.

  2. Camera was returned to store for various reasons then sent to manufacturer to refurbish & make salable. This is much like a “Certified Preowned” car from a dealer. Warranties are usually valid but be sure to check.
